SOPs for journalists covering high-risk events soon: MHA

Atiq and his brother Ashraf were shot in UP's Prayagraj on Saturday evening while they were speaking to journalists. Three assailants, posing as reporters, shot them from point blank range. The ministry is learnt to be particularly perturbed with chase sequences which played out on television screens in some recent cases where high risk criminals were being ferried by the police, an official privy to the discussions said.
