Covid-19 claims 24 more deaths, positivity rate climbs to 8.4%

Delhi and Rajasthan reported three deaths each in the last 24 hours, according to health ministry data. The remaining deaths were reported from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Kerala, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Bihar.The country reported 9,111 fresh cases on Monday, slightly lower than Sunday's 10,093, mainly due to lower testing. The positivity rate, however, went up to 8.4%, according to health ministry data.
