China builds bridge across Pangong, helipads in its territory to counter India's quick reaction ability

The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is further strengthening its military infrastructure with additional troop shelters, gun positions, helipads and jetties in the area between 'Finger-8’ and its military bases to the east at Sirijap-I and II on the north bank of the Pangong lake. The new bridge is coming up in the Khurnak Fort area.
