Punjab votes today in five-cornered contest

Punjab has been known for springing surprises. In 2012, it defied the odds to hand over a handsome victory to the Akalis. Unlike other states in the north, it resisted Modi’s appeal in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and hoisted AAP as the third pole.
