No early decision on Ayodhya, SC to hear case only next year

A bench headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi indicated that the Supreme Court was in no hurry to decide on the highly contentious dispute of Ayodhya. The CJI’s disposition dissuaded parties from pressing for an early hearing. The court’s order comes at a time when politics over the Ayodhya case is hot with RSS calling for a law to start construction of a Ram temple.
