SC rejects plea challenging arrest of five rights activists, says no to SIT probe

The Supreme Court comprising CJI Dipak Misra and Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud said that the evidence suggested they had been arrested not for their dissent against the ruling dispensation but for their links with members of the banned CPI (Maoist).
